The site also features routes used to transport silver ore to the coast, and port towns from where it was shipped to Korea and China. The mines contributed substantially to the overall economic development of Japan and south-east Asia in the 16th and 17th centuries, prompting the mass production of silver and gold in Japan. The mining area is now heavily wooded. Included in the site are fortresses, shrines, parts of Kaidô transport routes to the coast, and three port towns, Tomogaura, Okidomari and Yunotsu, from where the ore was shipped.","혼슈 섬 남서부에 위치한 이와미 긴잔 은광은 해발 600m까지 솟은 산들과 깊은 강 계곡이 교차하는 지역으로, 16세기에서 20세기까지 운영된 대규모 광산, 제련 및 정련 시설, 광산 정착지의 고고학적 유적이 남아 있다. Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area","호류지 지역의 불교 기념물",{"id":41,"nameJa":42,"nameEn":43,"nameKo":44,"category":12},661,"姫路城","Himeji-jo","히메지성",{"id":46,"nameJa":47,"nameEn":48,"nameKo":49,"category":50},662,"屋久島","Yakushima","야쿠시마","Natural",{"id":52,"nameJa":53,"nameEn":54,"nameKo":55,"category":50},663,"白神山地","Shirakami-Sanchi","시라카미산치",{"id":57,"nameJa":58,"nameEn":59,"nameKo":60,"category":12},688,"古都京都の文化財（京都市・宇治市・大津市）","Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto (Kyoto, Uji and Otsu Cities)","고대 교토의 역사 기념물 (교토, 우지, 오쓰 시)",{"id":62,"nameJa":63,"nameEn":64,"nameKo":65,"category":12},734,"白川郷・五箇山の合掌造り集落","Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama","시라카와고와 고카야마의 역사 마을",{"id":67,"nameJa":68,"nameEn":69,"nameKo":70,"category":12},775,"広島平和記念碑（原爆ドーム）","Hiroshima Peace Memorial (Genbaku Dome)","히로시마 평화 기념관 (원폭 돔)",{"id":72,"nameJa":73,"nameEn":74,"nameKo":75,"category":12},776,"厳島神社","Itsukushima Shinto Shrine","이쓰쿠시마 신사",1782463010555]
